Calculator data

Every calculation on Calculate Ability runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The values you enter — prices, dimensions, loan amounts, property details — are never transmitted to our servers, never logged and never stored. Closing the tab discards them.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts and we do not ask for personal information to use any calculator. Standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of your request. These logs are used for security and aggregate traffic measurement.

If you contact us, we receive whatever information you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to remember your theme preference (light or dark) and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. These are functional and stay on your device.

Third-party advertising and analytics providers may set their own cookies as described below.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

Because we do not maintain user accounts or store calculator inputs, we typically hold no personal data about you beyond transient server logs.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. You can manage advertising personalisation through the cookie notice or your browser settings.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
